El Doce (Córdoba)

It is the most popular TV channel in Córdoba, the largest city in the country after Buenos Aires. Apart from covering the province of Córdoba, it has a repeater in Catamarca.

Most of its programming are repeats from Canal 13, in Buenos Aires, except for news bulletins, which are locally produced, and an agricultural show that has been airing for decades.

In 2000, Artear S.A, subsidiary of Grupo Clarín, acquired 85.18% of TeleCor S.A.C.I.’s stock (Canal 12), which belonged to Sociedad Argentina de Medios S.A., José María Buccafusca, Arón Braver (one of the channel’s founders) and Francisco Quiñonero (Braver’s nephew and heir). Quiñonero currently retains 14.8% of the capital stock.

In 2015 the Federal Audiovisual Communication Services Authority (AFSCA) assigned El Doce the signal 27.1 of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTTV).
