Pop Radio

FM POP was the second most popular FM radio station in 2017. It has over 40 repeaters across the country. Its programming has the highest number of debates and discussions in FM and features renowned radio and TV figures, mostly men between 40 and 60 years old. Its listeners are adults, and its musical agenda focuses on classics in Spanish.

Even though it has led the rating lists since 2013, the departure of two of its most popular hosts (Santiago Del Moro and Beto Casella) made the radio station lose a considerable number of listeners.

The radio station was founded in 1993 by Grupo Clarín, who rented the frequency to Radio La Red. In 2004 the radio station was launched as FM Pop by the media businessman Daniel Hadad. He sold all his audiovisual media, including FM Pop, to Grupo Indalo in 2013.

The radio station is managed by an official receiver since 2017, due to the criminal charges filed against the radio owners.
