Radio Dos

LT2 AM 1230 is the most popular AM radio in Rosario. It belongs to Grupo Televisión Litoral, which also included an open TV channel (Canal 3) and two additional FM radio stations (Vida, the group’s most popular FM radio, and Plus).
It was founded in 1942 as an extension of radio network Cadena de Radios Splendid (RADES) in different Argentina provinces. In 1982 the radio license was awarded to Grupo Televisión Litoral, owned by the Gollán family. Since then, LT2 AM 1239 has become the most popular radio in the city, over the two other most popular radios, LT3 Radio Cerealista and LT8.
In 2015, after the death of Grupo Televisión Litoral’s founder, all the group’s media were purchased by Josefina Daminato and her husband, Gustavo Scaglione. Both are local business people. The radio’s programming is informative and gives local news.
