TN
TN is the most watched news channel in Argentina. It was created in 1993 and most of its schedule consisted of repeating content from Canal 13, an open TV channel that belonged to Grupo Clarín. As part of this group, TN features journalists who also work in the channel, the newspaper and the radio stations of the same group.
It broadcasts live, 24 hours a day, from Monday to Friday, and during most of the weekend. Its programming includes news bulletins that last up to 4 hours and, as of 10 p.m., it airs political shows hosted by different Grupo Clarín’s leading writers.
TN is one of the media in which Grupo Clarín takes an editorial political and economic line, together with newspaper Clarín and Radio Mitre.

TN belongs to Arte Radiotelevisivo Argentino Sociedad Anónima (Artear S.A.) which, in turn, is owned by Grupo Clarín. Its main shareholders are Héctor Magnetto, Ernestina Herrera de Noble’s heirs (Felipe and Marcela Noble Herrera), Lucio Pagliaro and José Aranda.
