Televisión Federal (Telefé) is the company that runs Canal 11 from Buenos Aires (with studios in Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area) and eight channels in the rest of Argentina: 8 from Córdoba, 5 from Rosario, 8 from Mar del Plata, 9 Bahía Blanca, 7 Neuquén, 11 from Salta, 13 from Santa Fe, 8 from Tucumán, and repeaters such as Canal 9 from Mendoza, Canal 11 from Formosa and Canal 13 from Río Cuarto.
It is the largest audiovisual production company in Argentina: it produces over 70% of its programming, a total of 5,100 hours of content a year.
Telefé also has an international division dedicated to selling formats and content all over the world, which is distributed as a paid content TV channel and has over 25 million subscribers in 22 countries.
Its content can be watched by streaming or on-demand on its web platforms. According to the company, it has about 21 million monthly streaming visualizations by 2.6 million monthly visitors.

Viacom is owned by American mogul Sumner Redstone, who, together with his family, owns 70% of stock of Viacom and CBS Corporation through the firm National Amusements. His daughter, Shari Redstone (Vice President of the board of directors of Viacom and CBS), is the next in line to lead her father’s business. Traditionally, the Redstones and their media were always open supporters of the US Democratic Party. Viacom is the fourth largest media conglomerate in the world and owns cinema studios, TV networks, paid TV channels, videogame companies, movie theater networks and theaters, among other businesses.
