Fascetto Family
Grupo Fascetto was created together with Diario Popular in 1974 by two journalists and businessmen from the city of La Plata, Jorge Fascetto and David Kraiselburd. The latter was the owner and Director of newspaper El Día from La Plata. The partnership between the two families continued until 2012, when they split their stock. The Fascetto family stayed with Diario Popular and Agencia Noticias Argentinas. Francisco Fascetto is the group's CEO and controls the media with his father Jorge and his siblings.
