History

Media have always had close links with the political power in Argentina, which, however, did not always meant to indulge those governments in office. But even when the relationship was far from friendly, groups in the public administration kept providing large corporations and media groups with generous support. In addition, large amounts of money have been invested in media in order to improve or clean the public images of politicians, businessmen or companies.
